Vivo X300 Series: The Vivo X300 and X300 Pro are official launched in China and already making headlines for their camera upgrades and big batteries. India launch hasn’t been announced yet, but pricing hints and full specifications give us a clear picture of what to expect from the India Launch.
Vivo X300 Series Design and Display
Vivo is offering two sizes in there mobile phone this year. The X300 Pro is the larger flagship with a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO OLED, 120Hz, while the X300 is a compact option with a 6.31-inch 1.5K LTPO OLED, 120Hz. Both phones are slim (under 8mm), feature IP68/IP69 protection, and use an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, which should be faster and more reliable than optical scanners used in earlier times.
The design language stays classy: a circular camera island with ZEISS branding, matte finishes, and a tidy frame. If you prefer a smaller, lighter flagship, the X300 stands out this year.
Vivo X300 Series Camera
Cameras are the big updates and the main focus point:
- Vivo X300 Pro: 50MP Sony LYT-828 main, 200MP Samsung HPB telephoto (ZEISS), and 50MP ultrawide; 4K/120fps 10-bit Log video on all rear cameras.
- Vivo X300: uses the 200MP HPB as the main camera, plus 50MP telephoto and 50MP ultrawide.
Both phones support Vivo’s snap-on 2.35x telephoto extender lens (sold as part of a photography kit) that first appeared with the X200 Ultra—a rare pro-style add-on in phones.
Early hands-on coverage also notes consistent color tuning and major zoom improvements, so expect strong portrait and telephoto results from day one.
Vivo X300 Series New Features and Updates
This generation of new mobile phones introduces some significant quality of life improvements:
- Out of the box OriginOS 6 (Android 16) rather than Funtouch, for international markets; Vivo says a new OS will roll out for global markets starting November 2025.
- IP68/IP69 durability, ultrasonic fingerprint, stereo speakers, NFC, and USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 on the Pro.
- An optional Photography Kit, with telephoto extender lens and grip/battery pack for shooting all day.
Processor and Performance Of Vivo X300 Series
The MediaTek Dimensity 9500 powers both devices and is complemented with LPDDR5X RAM and up to 16GB/1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. Both devices posted a strong flagship-level CPU performance score based on benchmarks and first impressions that suggest they are comparable to Qualcomm’s latest tier while being less costly at times.
In terms of working real-world performance such as camera processing, editing short clips, and transiting heavy applications, you can expect the best case scenario of the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 paired with Vivo’s V3+ imaging chip, and fast storage to be quick, smooth, and steady.

Vivo claims these new batteries deliver long backup comparable to much larger batteries in the market thanks highly optimized — this is a great news for travelers and camera users for video shots.
Expected Launch Dates in India
The X300 series is now available in China and Vivo hint that it would come to worldwide market soon. At the Chinese reveal, no specific India date was provided. Since the X-series has reached India on average 3 weeks to 1.5 months from the time it is released in China, it is easy to assume that it will come to India in the late part of 2025 or early in 2026 unless Vivo provides particular dates for the India Launch.
Expected Variants and Pricing (India)
The price for the X300 is priced at ¥4,399 and for the X300 Pro at ¥5,299 in China. Many outlets are predicting the awaited pricing for India will line up around what the X200 series was priced at last year. One reported price for the X300 puts it at ₹65,999 and the X300 Pro at ₹94,999 (the prices are subject to change once made official).

Should You Wait For The Vivo X300 Series Launch?
If you like to get telephoto quality, big batteries, and a smaller-than-flagship option (X300), the series has some promise. What the final decision will be on pricing in India ultimately matters, but early indications show aggressive specs for the money, and a definite laser focus on photography.
